
Black Friday offers are stupid… WRONG 😆
Every year I see FitPros say Black Friday is silly or pointless
But when you actually know your numbers, it becomes one of the smartest cashflow plays you can run 🙌
Picture this…
10 clients paying upfront for the year with a small discount
That’s a full year locked in
That’s new kit paid for
That’s debt cleared
That’s a safety buffer for the quiet months
It could even be your first holiday in 6 years
But… only if the offer makes financial sense
If you start throwing out discounts that feel good but destroy your margins, then yeah, Black Friday becomes a disaster
So keep it simple
Keep it safe
Keep it profitable
Only offer it to current clients
Avoid huge discounts
Make sure the numbers actually add up
Something like
12 months for the price of 11
Or 12 months paid in full plus 3 free PT sessions worth £40 each
And before anyone says “Apple don’t do Black Friday”… yeah, because Apple, Rolex and Tesla have waiting lists and insane demand
Most gyms don’t
So for the rest of us, Black Friday can be a powerful move when you plan it properly and stick to the maths 🙌
