The Dark Days (2014-2017)
I remember the exact moment I realised I'd built myself a prison, not a business. It was 11 PM on a Tuesday, I was still at the studio doing admin work, and Holly texted asking if I was coming home for dinner. Again.
I was working 70-90 hours a week, paying my staff more than I was taking home, and constantly stressed about money. We'd missed family holidays, date nights, and I couldn't remember the last time I'd switched off.
The worst part? I thought this was just "what it takes" to run a fitness business. I was wrong.
The Turning Point (2018)
Everything changed when I stopped trying to do everything myself and started building systems. Real systems. Not just "processes", but automated, scalable systems that worked without me.
