48 Hours…
In business, it can go by super quick if things are going well
Yet at the same time, things can fall off the edge of a cliff and cause major issues in your business in that same length of time
For example… Stripe might decide to do a hard check on your account on the 31st
Pausing all payouts, the day before you’re due to pay rent 😬🫣
Well, for me, less than 48 hours ago I was running in the beautiful sunshine, 34 degrees in Morocco ☀️
Yet in that same 48 hours, I’m now back in Cardiff… pouring rain and 10 degrees 😆
The reason I tell you this is more of a warning ⚠️
You don’t want hard stops and sudden pain in your business
You want calm, control, vision with a little wiggle room
So here are a few things we always have working for us in the background 👇
1️⃣ You can never have too much!
We save 20% for TAX and 20% for VAT from every single payout
Yes, it’s over-saving, but you can never have too much
And if you’re thinking “that’s good for you”… we did exactly the same when we had the studio 👊
I’d rather never worry about paying the GOV than risk being sent to jail 😆
2️⃣ Safety in diversity!
When we had the studio, I was the only backup if Mike or John were off ill
So to take that stress off me, we also qualified Jess, our client care & sales rep, to be a PT as an additional backup
Same goes for now, every single member of the team is qualified in running META Ads 💪
3️⃣ The business killer!
If there’s one thing guaranteed to stunt your growth, or even worse, kill your business, it’s not having a vision
And your clients are the perfect example
When they lose motivation or forget why they’re turning up… you know that their cancellation notice is coming your way
And this is where I transition into today’s pitch 😆
