The Difference Between £8k and £15k
I just finished a Growth Call with the Incubator crew… and it got me thinking about the difference between ambition and action
You know the feeling… you’re stuck at £6k or £8k a month
You’re working 70 hours a week, doing 5am bootcamps, and you know you need a change
But when it comes down to it, most studio owners fall into two camps
The ones who want to scale, and the ones who are ready to scale
😬 The "Want" Camp
They are the dreamers, which is great, but they love talking about the £15k goal more than doing the work
They say things like:
😬 "I need more systems, but I don't have time to build them"
😬 "The leads are cold, I'll wait until next month to run ads"
😬 "I’ll hire someone when I hit £15k" (which is backward, by the way)
They are waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect blueprint to just appear
It’s the classic "I’ll start tomorrow" mindset, but applied to their entire business 😬
💷 The "Ready" Camp
These are the people who are tired of the hustle and are willing to sacrifice short-term comfort for long-term freedom
They understand that scaling from £8k to £15k+ isn't about working harder, it's about making a few critical, uncomfortable changes
They are the ones who show up to the calls, implement the CRM that day, and trust the process even when it feels messy
They know that the systems are what buy them back their time, not the revenue
They hire the team first, and then the revenue follows
It’s about being decisive
I’ve seen clients go from £7k to £16k in 90 days just because they stopped wanting and started doing
It’s not magic, it’s just consistency and following a proven roadmap
If you’re stuck in the 'Want' camp right now, that's okay
But you need to ask yourself: What is the one thing you are actively avoiding right now that you know would unlock your growth
Stop looking for the easy way out… the easy way out is the system you build today
If you’re ready to move from wanting freedom to actually achieving it, let's chat 🤝
You got this 💪
David :)
